Warranty Coverage for Commercial & Residential Window Protection Films
Madico, Inc. offers a robust warranty on professionally installed SafetyShield® window films for both commercial and residential applications. The warranty covers issues like peeling, bubbling, rippling, cracking, adhesive failure, delamination, and demetallization.
For commercial installations, the warranty is valid for 12 years, while residential installations enjoy a lifetime warranty. Glass breakage is covered for 5 years, and seal failure for 3 years. Films are warranted for interior, vertical glass surfaces only, unless specified for exterior use.
Additionally, SafetyShield Attachment Systems installed with these films are covered for 10 years against manufacturing defects. Seal failure coverage aligns with the shorter of either the window manufacturer’s warranty or the specified period.
